As part of the generation Y, I grew up with a computer never far away from me and saw the world wide web become what it is now.   The internet is my job and, honestly, a great way to avoid shopping in retail for my clothes but, more than that, it's a passion.   I started my studies as an IT technician in high school, to move to IT development in college with a concentration in networks and databases and then to end up with a bachelor in e-Business. All this allowed me to touch all aspects of e-Commerce and makes me someone with an interesting profile who can understand both the business AND the IT side of the operations.   I have been working for a full end-to-end company in Belgium for the last 3 years as an E-Commerce Account Manager, helping brands like Olympus or groups like Amer Sports (Salomon, Wilson, Suunto, Mavic, ...) develop their e-Commerce activities in Europe. Including front/back-end management, e-Marketing, Logitics, Call-Center and finance.   I relocated in the United States last year, in the Dallas area, to help Amer Sports in their global development (EMEA + North America) and worked on Procter & Gamble as a Program Manager.   After this experience as a Program Manager / Account Manager and with the eCommerce activities / Demandware growing within the company, I have been offered a new challenge in a new team as an eCommerce Solution Engineer. In this new position I have been responsible of the full implementation of Güd Happens (gudhappens.com) and the management of the steady state development on Alexander & James (alexanderandjames.com)   Considering my eCommerce background and my previous IT studies, this position change was actually a brilliant idea as my knowledge is a big asset to the team and I'm doing something I love every day.   Passionate, I am always looking forward to new challenges, new projects, new partners, new opportunities and new things to learn.
